The Pennsylvania Conference of Women is proud to serve up grants to support women-owned restaurants for the second consecutive year. This year, 80 women-owned restaurants were awarded from across the state with $2,500 grants— totaling $200,000!
This is the second consecutive year the Conferences have awarded grants to women-owned restaurants. In 2020, the nonprofits distributed $650,000 to women-owned restaurants.
The grants will help restaurant-owners pay back debt, deal with rising supply costs, and make the transitions needed to adapt to what Deloitte has called the COVID-inspired “restaurant of the future,” which prioritizes convenience frictionless digital experiences, and safety.
“We are proud to support these hard-working women entrepreneurs during these challenging times,” said Laurie Dalton White, executive director of the Conferences for Women, the nation’s largest network of women’s conferences dedicated to advancing women in the workplace.
