There’s no shortage of ice cream shops in Pittsburgh, and we can now grab a scoop of Ohio-based Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, too! Located in Bakery Square, Jeni’s opened shop last week and received a big welcome from Pittsburghers. 

This was my first time trying Jeni’s, but for my guest, she was already a fan from visiting the brand in Ohio. What really impressed me was the big variety of flavors. Even the classic flavors have a twist to them.

I ordered a scoop of the Pumpkin Cake Roll and Darkest Chocolate and immediately fell in love with both. I also tried the froze scoop in a cup topped with champagne — because how else should we celebrate the new store opening?? 🙂
